Tim Beckh

Managing Partner

On graduating with an MA in Political Economics, Tim joined the Armed Forces serving with The Royal Engineers in the Far East, Germany, the Balkans and UK. He developed particular expertise in assessment, leadership development and training during tours with the Army’s Officer Recruitment & Assessment Team and as an Instructor at The Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.

After leaving the Army, Tim joined the Technology practice of a leading UK executive search & selection firm working on management appointments for clients across a range of industry sectors. More recently, Tim has worked with a wide range of ‘early stage’ and established Energy, Construction, Infrastructure and Telecoms businesses in the UK, Europe and Africa. He has particular experience in making senior general management, finance, sales/business development and technology leadership appointments.

Tim is an active contributor to the construction industry transformation programme, Project 13, is a member of the acumen7 network, a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, a member of the Energy Industries Club and a trustee of two charities.

Pascale Beyaert

After graduating with an Executive Secretary BA, Pascale also completed a Marketing BA and joined FedEx where she held various positions including Executive PA,Sales Coordinator, Inside Sales and Account Executive.

At FedEx, she worked with both large enterprises and SME customers across a wide variety of industries. The focus of her work was to support companies in their international trade expansion by providing best service offerings.

Most recently, Pascale worked for a start-up specialising in industrial services in the energy, chemical and food sectors. She was involved in the provision of customer support and was also instrumental in the back-office management.

Pascale speaks English, French & Flemish.

Lionel Bung

Senior Associate

Lionel began his career in executive search in London in 2013, embedded within an Oil & Gas practice and focussed in the upstream segment of the industry. He subsequently joined a generalist international executive search firm, where he was responsible for recruiting senior executives in a variety of industries and functions across EMEA.

At Grosvenor Clive & Stokes, Lionel is responsible for the delivery of a panel of projects within the Construction, Civil Engineering and Waste-to-Energy sectors.

Lionel holds a BA in Politics & International Relations from the University of Sussex and a Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of Bristol.  He is a Belgian national with a Cameroonian heritage and speaks English, Dutch & French.

Prior to joining Grosvenor Clive & Stokes, Alex spent thirteen years working in various management and leadership roles within executive search, focused on the Energy & Natural Resources sectors.

He has particularly extensive experience within the Oil and Gas sector, having taken responsibility for numerous national and international assignments, across the key business and technical functions.

As well as working with major international companies, Alex has strong relationships with many smaller to mid-sized exploration & production companies, services companies and oil and gas consultancies. He has supported numerous companies in building their executive and non-executive teams.

Alex is a member of the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) the London Geological Society and the Institute of Directors.

Florian de Cormis

Partner

After graduating, Florian spent 9 years working in various Finance and Project Management roles with the French construction firm, Bouygues Construction in Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific. He developed a deep understanding of the operations of major construction, civil works and EPC turnkey projects (e.g.High Speed Line Rail Infrastructure) and in the use of innovative systems and technologies. These included BIM, energy efficiency and smart grids.  He also has first-hand knowledge of bidding processes, the operation of consortia and issues including quality, health, safety and the environment (QHSE) standards.

Florian is primarily focussed on projects in Civil Works & Rail Infrastructure, Construction and Facility Management, Power Generation, Environmental Services and Waste & Water treatment, Industrial, Aerospace, Automotive and Robotics. His work spans Europe, the Middle East and North America and includes advising major international companies and projects to appoint senior industry leaders internationally.

Florian’s graduate studies included time in both France and Canada and he is fluent in both English and French.

Keith Evans

Managing Partner

Keith has over twenty five years’ executive recruitment experience and a personal focus on General Management, cross functional VP and Partner appointments in the international Energy,Industrial/Utilities and Management Consulting sectors, as well as being responsible for Grosvenor Clive & Stokes’s business operations. His clients include ‘Blue Chip’ FTSE corporates, smaller AIM listed and private, high growth companies as well as ‘Big Four’ and smaller, niche consulting firms.

After graduating in Economics, he worked in Finance before joining what became one of the UK’s leading international recruitment groups. Over ten years there, he set up and ran several business units as the company grew quickly. He subsequently became a co-founder of a new business, responsible for its executive search services and then Managing Partner of the combined businesses when Grosvenor Wright acquired Clive & Stokes International in October 2011.

Keith is a member of the Energy Industries Club, the British Institute of Energy Economics and the Institute of Directors.

Oliver focuses on the global energy, commodities and natural resources markets. He supports multinationals, listed businesses and privately funded ventures across Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Searches regularly involve moving executives, both local and foreign nationals, cross border. Locations have included Angola, Cameroon, DRC, Gabon, Mozambique, Nigeria and Sierra Leone, as well as mainland Europe, UK, UAE and India.

He studied Physical Geography at the University of Southampton.

Prior to moving into search in 2015, Marion worked for three years at Safran Landing Systems, a French aeronautical firm (Safran Group). As a Project Leader, she was managing global engineering research and development projects.

At Grosvenor Clive & Stokes she is responsible for delivering a global portfolio of senior, cross-functional search projects, mainly in the Construction and Civil Engineering sectors.

Marion holds an MSc from a French Engineering University plus a level 3CIPD qualification in HR management. She speaks fluent English & French.

Jayne Maxwell

Partner

Jayne has a long track record in finding senior executives in the international energy sector. She is one of the executive search market leaders in energy (Oil, Gas and Power), Renewables and Utilities but has also carried out assignments in other sectors such as Consumer Goods, Infrastructure, Telecommunications and Management Consulting.

Functionally her work has covered most management disciplines and regularly involves successfully finding and placing people both locally and internationally.

Many of her searches involve moving people cross border and finding local, foreign nationals.  Most recently she has been working in Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, Tanzania, Algeria and Singapore.

She graduated Magna CumLaude from Middlebury College, Vermont, USA and was the winner of the ThomasWatson Scholarship which enabled her to carry out anthropological research in South East Asia.

Prior to joining GC&S, he worked on senior level executive search mandates for both public & private sector organisations in the Higher Education and Not-for-Profit sectors.  Whilst at University, he co-founded a small but successful, custom clothing business for a number of years.

Gianni holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Liverpool and was a member of the University of Liverpool Management School Society and the Liverpool Debating Union (LDU).

Prior to moving to London in 2009, Shauna graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree –  specialising in Marketing & Management from the University of South Africa. She subsequently worked as the Operations Manager of a London based nationally focused company specialising in four principal operating sectors: Construction Management, Facilities Management, Building Maintenance and Consultancy

Most recently Shauna worked for The Boston Consulting Group as the Senior Operations Specialist for their Canary Wharf office

Shauna is responsible for the smooth running of the GC&S office and also provides support to the Managing Partners. She brings to GC&S a wealth of experience in day to day Operations, Facilities Management, Supplier Negotiations, Financial Operations , Human Resources and Client Liaison.

Justin has fifteen years of experience in senior sales and marketing roles in the manufacturing and corporate fit out sectors, prior to moving into executive search.

David conducts Chief Executive, main Board, functional head and senior executive level searches in a variety of sectors, such as oil and gas, power, water, engineering procurement & construction, professional services, education and shipping. This has included positions in marketing, sales, project management, business development, refining, legal, corporate affairs, accounting and finance, exploration, production and human resources.

He has worked on assignments in many parts of the world, including the UK, USA, Latin America, Russia, Australia, Turkey, Africa, Europe, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Romania, the Caribbean and Madagascar.

In his early career he worked with BP, where he was employed in a variety of senior strategic and operational positions, including Head of Reward, Senior HR Policy Advisor and HR Manager for the Central Engineering Department. He has also been the Managing Director of a boutique international executive search firm.

He holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Management and Development.

Edward focuses on international energy companies and markets. He has completed assignments across Europe and further afield in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Russia, Kazakhstan and in Africa.

Prior to executive search, he spent over 20 years with BP in a variety of roles in the USA, UK, Belgium and the Netherlands. He was subsequently the USPresident and a director of Whatman plc, led World Energy Solutions to a NASDAQ IPO as Chairman, was a board member of the Oil & Pipelines Agency and a NED and Audit Chair of NHS Norfolk.

A graduate of Churchill College, Cambridge, Edward holds a doctorate in chemistry. He completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School, is a Fellow of both the Energy Institute and the Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the Security Institute.

Simon Pratt has been in top-level executive search for over 30 years latterly specialising in construction, infrastructure, consumer/retail and manufacturing.

For 12 years he was a Partner with GKR (subsequently merged with Whitehead Mann). Previously he set up the UK search business for A T Kearney which he ran for ten years. He is also a founder member of acumen7, a consultative group of senior business leaders who can provide seasoned technical support and specific industry knowledge to add value to the search process.

Earlier in his career he was based in the Netherlands for five years where he established and successfully managed a search business on behalf of a US company. Prior to his entry into search he worked for Lucas Industries and Ferranti.

He was educated at Dover College and Birmingham College of Commerce.

Steve Brandon

Steve had over thirty years’ experience in IT and Management Consulting. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Computing and spent the early part of his career in the computer software and services industry before joining the Management Consultancy divisions of Pricewaterhouse Coopers and then Deloitte.

For ten years Steve was a senior partner within the Consulting division of Deloitte. He was a member of the executive leadership team, managed the overall operational performance of the consulting business and led the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business unit. He also fulfilled a term as a member of the Deloitte UK Board and sat on the remuneration and Partner admission sub-committees.

On his retirement Steve served as a member of his local area board for The Prince’s Trust, where he sat on the panel that determined financial loans to young people to start a business venture and subsequently mentored several them.

His other interests include supporting Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Worcester Warriors RUFC team and also enjoying the opportunity he now has for travel and to catch up with the places his children have visited on their gap years!

Tim has worked in international upstream Oil & Gas recruitment since 2003 specialising in senior geoscience and petroleum engineering appointments. His clients include a wide range of energy companies from global multinationals to the independent Oil Producers, Oilfield Services and Consulting firms and specialist advisory firms operating in Exploration & Production. Tim’s experience spans both the subsurface and commercial disciplines of his clients, finding business managers as well as senior technical staff.

Tim has an international client and contact base and has worked successfully on assignments in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia as well as in Africa and the FSU. Prior to his career in executive recruitment,Tim spent many years working in the oil industry, firstly with Shell ExPro then as an oil analyst with James Capel and latterly as the Director leading thePetroleum Service Group at Arthur Andersen.

Tim is a member of the Energy Institute (EI), the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) and the SE Asia Petroleum Exploration Society (SEAPEX).
