Katie is a Partner at Grosvenor Clive and Stokes.  She specialises in recruiting across the People, Marketing and Operations functions, across all levels providing recruitment solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients globally. Her clients comprise FTSE 250 businesses, private equity backed organisations, start-ups and high growth, privately owned SMEs.

Katie has 25 years industry experience working in partnership with clients to understand their business strategy, culture and people agendas, providing tailored solutions for senior, business-critical hires as well as larger multiple-hire projects.

Working alongside Jo Ryder, Katie and Jo use their combined experience and functional knowledge to lead on key hires for fast-growth businesses; building trusted relationships and using proven and transparent methods to ensure their clients attract the best talent in the market to source game-changing talent, through innovative, commercial and digital-first people strategies and solutions.

Jo Ryder

Partner and Co Head of Practice

Jo is a Partner for Grosvenor Clive and Stokes and has a successful track record of working within People, Marketing and Operations markets globally. Her 25 + years experience within these areas have allowed her to effectively partner with clients across a range of sectors which include manufacturing, fintech, proptech, the built environment and financial services.

Jo works with clients to help align their business goals with their people strategy, partnering with key stakeholders within start-ups, scale-ups and well established SME’s. Through building mutual trust and longterm relationships, Jo helps her clients position themselves in the market, ensuring business growth is made possible through the delivery of a successful recruitment strategy.

Tony Robinson

Managing Partner

Tony is the Managing Partner for Grosvenor Clive and Stokes and leads the Real Estate, Built Environment and Property practice, covering the whole asset lifecycle across EMEA and the UK.

He has a strong personal focus on senior executive appointments for Infrastructure, supporting the real estate industry and wider built environment sector, advising clients across the full built-asset life cycle from financing, development, construction and consulting to asset management and support services. Within these markets, he has undertaken a wide range of searches, which have included all levels of functional, commercial and technical appointments.

Alongside his executive recruitment experience Tony brings a wide ranging track record in leadership development, benchmarking and assessment.

Tony was educated at Kingston College and Kingston University.

David Davies

David Davies

Advisory Partner

David conducts Chief Executive, main Board, functional head and senior executive level searches in a variety of sectors, such as oil and gas, power, water, engineering procurement & construction, professional services, education and shipping. This has included positions in marketing, sales, project management, business development, refining, legal, corporate affairs, accounting and finance, exploration, production and human resources.

He has worked on assignments in many parts of the world, including the UK, USA, Latin America, Russia, Australia, Turkey, Africa, Europe, Kazakhstan, Croatia, Romania, the Caribbean and Madagascar.

In his early career he worked with BP, where he was employed in a variety of senior strategic and operational positions, including Head of Reward, Senior HR Policy Advisor and HR Manager for the Central Engineering Department. He has also been the Managing Director of a boutique international executive search firm.

He holds a BSc degree in Mathematics from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel Management and Development.

Fiona Reilly

Fiona Reilly

Advisory Partner

Fiona is an experienced executive and non-executive director and consultant with specialist knowledge of the energy (particularly nuclear), infrastructure and construction sectors gained over a 30 year career.  Fiona’s experience encompasses both advisory and operational roles. She has strategically advised on all aspects of the lifecycle of large-scale energy, infrastructure and construction projects including development, structuring, construction and operation, risk management, international regulatory development and compliance, licensing and financing and funding.

Fiona brings a unique set of skills to bear with her combined legal, consultancy and commercial experience; including partnership in a global law firm*, heading up nuclear for capital projects at PwC and undertaking the day to day management at executive level for a family office private equity funded renewable energy development company and has chaired a high profile working group for Her Majesty’s Government, presenting its report to Ministers and engaged with wider stakeholders.

Fiona currently runs her own independent consultancy business. In addition she is an independent non-executive Director of Ansaldo Nuclear, sits on the Strategy Board of the Nuclear Industry Association, is a Co-Chair of the EMWG on the Generation IV International Forum.

Phil Cliffe

Phil Cliffe

Advisory Partner

Phil has extensive asset management experience gained working for a major international corporation, a prestigious global management consultancy and numerous smaller enterprises over a 35 year career. And a track record of delivery in these various settings.

During his 22 year corporate career in Royal Dutch Shell Phil held a range of technical, commercial and health/safety related leadership roles in the upstream sector. He gained expertise in the leadership of Capital Projects, Asset Management, Supply Chain, Non-Operated Ventures and Commercial. He is a strong, visible and impactful HSE leader with a proven track record in driving improved safety culture and performance in high risk operational environments. He has worked in UK, Europe, Middle East, Far East and Africa.

Over the last 13 years, Phil has run has own independent consulting business providing performance management, performance improvement, due diligence, strategy and culture change in high risk sectors. Clients include OGA (now NTSA, the UK Upstream Regulator), Jersey Government and BG Group. He is a Senior Advisor at Bain & Company, an Assessor at Building A Safer Future and a High Risk Reviewer at the Infrastructure Project Authority (Cabinet Office, UK Government). In addition he is a Non-Executive Director at Recorra Ltd.
Phil holds a BSc(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Southampton University, is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
